**Barceló Guadalajara Hotel** is seeking talent, located opposite Expo Guadalajara in the Plaza del Sol area. The Restaurant Service Captain will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the operations of the hotel’s restaurant and food & beverage service team. Requirements: * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar position * Excellent personal presentation * Strong knowledge of food-and-wine pairing, wines, cocktails, and mocktails Responsibilities: * Supervise the performance of the waitstaff team to ensure compliance with the hotel restaurant’s established service standards. * Coordinate table assignments and distribute responsibilities among service staff. * Train new staff on service procedures, customer service protocols, and hygiene and safety standards. * Ensure cleanliness and order are maintained in the service area and workstations. * Directly attend to guests, resolve issues, and professionally handle difficult situations. * Collaborate with management to develop strategies that improve operational efficiency and guest experience. * Supervise inventory of service supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed. * Effectively communicate team needs and improvement suggestions to management. Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm / 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm / 5:00 pm – Closing. Availability to rotate shifts weekly or as required by management.
