




The Role As an EHS Intern at Torreón DC, you will support the implementation of the ISO 45001 (Occupational Health \& Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems at the distribution center. You will collaborate with EHS, operations, and cross‑functional teams to develop documentation, operational controls, and site‑specific procedures that ensure alignment with international management system standards. What You’ll Do (Impact Areas) Management System Implementation (ISO 45001 \& ISO 14001\)* Participate in the establishment and deployment of the Integrated Management System for Safety, Health, and Environment at Torreón DC. * Assist in developing, updating, and standardizing procedures required for certification readiness. * Create and document operational controls and environmental/safety formats applicable to the site. * Support the alignment of site practices with the clauses and requirements of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\. Documentation \& Controls* Draft procedures, work instructions, and compliance documents in accordance with the management system structure. * Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure proper application of controls. * Ensure document versions, approvals, and records meet internal and external audit expectations. Site Support \& Continuous Improvement* Engage with supervisors and operational staff to understand risks, impacts, and control needs. * Support gap assessments and improvement actions linked to system implementation. * Participate in EHS meetings, walkthroughs, and compliance reviews. What Success Looks Like By the end of the internship, you will have:* Contributed to the documented foundation of the ISO 45001 and 14001 systems at Torreón DC. * Delivered complete procedures, controls, and formats aligned with audit requirements. * Supported the alignment of site practices with international EHS management standards. * Enabled progress toward system readiness, audits, and long‑term sustainability. * Demonstrated strong technical writing, organizational discipline, and understanding of management systems.
