We are looking for \*\*\*Distribution Manager\*\*\* What do we require? Age and gender: Indifferent High school diploma minimum, provided experience requirements are met 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position Preferred knowledge of industrial machinery. Experience in production lines, metal-mechanic sector, or consumer goods, can packaging, etc. Not essential. Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics, warehouse operations, forklifts. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: \*Distribution planning\* * Design and coordinate delivery routes. * Schedule departures and arrivals to meet delivery timelines. * Assign loads and destinations according to priorities and transport capacity. \*Transportation and fleet management\* * Supervise delivery vehicles (maintenance, availability, licenses). * Coordinate with drivers and assistants to ensure successful deliveries. * Optimize transportation costs (fuel, time, tolls). \*Personnel supervision\* * Coordinate team of drivers, delivery assistants, and warehouse staff. * Train personnel on safety, customer service, and transportation regulations. * Resolve route incidents and motivate the team. \*Operational control\* * Review shipping documents (waybills, invoices, tracking numbers). * Ensure products leave in good condition and arrive complete. * Monitor route compliance (sometimes using GPS or tracking systems). \*Administrative management and performance indicators\* * Report deliveries, incidents, and returns. * Measure key metrics: punctuality, percentage of complete deliveries, distribution costs, returns. * Control inventory of in-transit products. \*Internal and external customer service\* * Resolve delivery issues (delays, returns, shortages). * Maintain communication with sales and customer service departments. * Propose improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. \*Regulatory compliance and safety\* * Ensure compliance with traffic and transportation safety regulations. * Adhere to sanitary regulations (very important in food and beverage industry). * Supervise loading and unloading safety protocols. \*Continuous improvement\* * Identify opportunities for improvement in costs, timing, and processes. * Implement new tools (logistics software, route tracking systems). * Source external transportation providers when necessary. What do we offer? Base salary of $25,000 to $35,000 gross monthly (100% covered by IMSS) Statutory benefits Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Work location: Arandas, Jalisco. Note: If you are not from this area, the company covers relocation housing.
