Job Summary: We are seeking an intern or recent graduate with interest in web development and WordPress to learn and grow into a Junior WordPress Developer role by creating professional themes. Participation in the development of a reusable WordPress theme ONLY APPLICANTS RESIDING IN QUERÉTARO WILL BE CONSIDERED We are looking for an intern or recent graduate with genuine interest in web development and WordPress who wants to learn in a real-project environment and progressively grow into a Junior WordPress Developer role. The main focus of the project is the creation of professional, reusable, and ready-to-install WordPress themes for client websites, primarily for English-language projects. We seek potential, attitude, and genuine willingness to learn. Your Responsibilities: - Developing WordPress themes from scratch (not just using templates). - Creating reusable blocks, sections, or components. - Converting designs (Figma or others) into HTML/CSS layouts. - Basic WordPress setup in local environments using Docker. - Publishing WordPress sites from scratch. - Adjustments and improvements to existing themes. - Using Git and following version control best practices. - Writing basic theme documentation and installation instructions. Requirements Profile - Student in final semesters or recent graduate of programs related to computer science, software engineering, or web development. - Genuine technical interest in WordPress (themes specifically). - Basic knowledge of: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. PHP. WordPress (basic theme structure: templates, functions.php, etc.). Personal Skills - Genuine willingness to learn and grow. - Organization, responsibility, and commitment. - Ability to receive feedback and improve. - Basic autonomy to research and solve problems. - Prior work experience is not required, but foundational knowledge and the right attitude are essential.
