We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design department, supervise the drafting team, and ensure the correct technical and regulatory execution of projects. Position Objective To direct, coordinate, and supervise the engineering and design department, ensuring that drawings and technical deliverables comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and specific requirements of the tequila industry. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the team of designers and technical drafters. Review and validate engineering drawings: layouts, isometrics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P\&ID), processes, structures, and construction details. Supervise the design and specification of industrial piping systems (stainless steel, carbon steel, sanitary lines, steam, etc.). Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (NOM\-STPS, industrial safety, construction, and sanitary regulations). Verify compliance with guidelines issued by the Tequila Regulatory Council where applicable. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure proper project execution. Establish design, review, and document control standards. Track engineering department schedules and deliverables. Propose technical improvements and process optimization in tequila distilleries. Requirements: Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Electromechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management or supervision of industrial projects. Strong knowledge of industrial piping design and calculation (process, sanitary, hydraulic, and steam). Knowledge of interpreting and preparing P\&ID, isometrics, and process layouts. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plant 3D, Revit, or similar. Experience in the tequila industry, food and beverage industry, or similar industrial processes. Familiarity with applicable regulations (NOM, industrial safety, and municipal/state regulations). Experience leading technical teams. Key Competencies: Technical leadership and team management.
