




Job Summary: Provide in-store operational support, including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to meet performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Arrange merchandise and execute planograms 2. Assist customers and clarify questions about products 3. Process transactions at the register and handle returns Provide floor-level operational support in stores by adhering to AutoZone’s established operational processes for sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures, and respond to customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately process register transactions using cash or credit cards, and handle returns in compliance with register payment policies to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closures. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
