Responsable de la gestión de la demanda, del análisis estadístico de planificación y de las actividades de inventario para una unidad de negocio global a escala mundial.
**FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES**
* El Planificador Global de Demanda coordina las actividades de planificación para apoyar el plan de suministro a largo plazo y los acuerdos de nivel de servicio con los clientes.
* Gestiona las previsiones de los clientes; incluyendo el desarrollo y perfeccionamiento del proceso, el análisis del impacto de los cambios en la demanda, la interacción con los clientes y el desarrollo y comunicación de los requisitos semanales de producción a las fábricas de Jabil.
* Comprende el acuerdo contractual entre el cliente y Jabil sobre la responsabilidad respecto a los materiales antes de cargar la demanda en el MPS.
* Valida la legitimidad de la demanda del cliente mediante el análisis de los envíos históricos, los próximos eventos extraordinarios, los planes de producción en otras instalaciones regionales y discusiones frecuentes y detalladas con los planificadores maestros de los sitios del cliente.
* Asegura que un plan de producción ambicioso, aunque alcanzable, se cargue en el programa maestro de producción (MPS), evaluando la exhaustividad y precisión de las actividades de dimensionamiento de materiales y capacidad.

* Comunica el programa maestro a largo plazo a cada célula de trabajo del sitio. Actúa como experto en materia de demanda del cliente y del programa de producción a largo plazo de Jabil para las células de trabajo del sitio.
* Negocia con el cliente una reducción del impacto sobre la responsabilidad de Jabil derivada de los cambios en la demanda.
