Salary: $17,000 net monthly Location / Work Mode: On-site · Full-time Monday to Friday: 10:00–19:00 (includes 1-hour lunch break) Saturday: 09:00–17:00 (includes 1-hour lunch break) Sunday: Day off About the Position We are looking for a backend developer with PHP experience to work on real-world operational systems. This role combines maintaining legacy code, developing new modules, and participating in CRMs built using both traditional PHP and Laravel. We need someone who can join an existing project, understand how it works, carefully implement changes, and develop new features without disrupting operations. Work is conducted in a local development environment per developer, with version control via Git branches. Before deployment to production, all changes undergo technical review by the supervisor. Responsibilities * Maintain and improve existing PHP legacy modules. * Develop new modules within CRMs and internal systems. * Participate in projects and features built with Laravel. * Fix bugs, adjust business logic, and ensure continuity of existing workflows. * Create backend queries, validations, and processes in MySQL/PHP. * Implement changes in Git branches for pre-production review. * Test changes in the local environment before integration. * Document significant changes and communicate technical risks when applicable. Essential Requirements * Solid functional knowledge of PHP. * Experience modifying existing code—not only building projects from scratch. * Intermediate or functional knowledge of Laravel. * Solid MySQL expertise. * Basic or functional Git skills for branch-based development. * Ability to work in a local development environment. * Skill in reading, understanding, and continuing logic developed by others. * Judgment to safely apply changes to operational systems. We Are Looking For Someone Who * Can work independently without constant supervision. * Reviews code before modifying sensitive system components. * Feels comfortable working with both legacy systems and Laravel. * Maintains organization when developing locally and delivering changes via Git branches. * Communicates questions, progress, and technical risks promptly. * Prioritizes stability, functionality, and maintainability. Desirable Qualifications * Prior experience with CRMs or administrative systems. * SQL query optimization. * Integration with APIs or internal processes. * Basic frontend knowledge to follow end-to-end workflows. * Experience debugging and fixing legacy systems in production.
