**Health Sciences Faculty** **Internal Medicine** **Position Objective:** Develop the ability to identify, diagnose, treat, and follow up on the most common adult diseases, integrating a clinical, preventive, and humanistic approach that enables comprehensive patient care within the field of Internal Medicine. **Responsibilities:** * Recognize the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic approaches to the most prevalent diseases across various adult organ systems. * Apply clinical reasoning to formulate differential diagnoses and appropriate therapeutic plans. * Integrate laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic test knowledge into the diagnostic and treatment process. * Develop clinical skills for complete physical examination and interpretation of signs and symptoms. * Provide individualized follow-up for each student. **Requirements:** * Mandatory: Medical degree and valid professional license in Medicine, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacy, or related fields. * Preferred: Master’s degree with title and valid professional license. * Teaching experience: minimum three years. * Preferred familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Blackboard, or similar. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organizational skills * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 65 years of academic excellence, social commitment, and professional vision.
