DESCRIPTION **Field Geologist** -------------------- At EOSOL, we are seeking a Field Geologist who will be responsible for the **supervision and execution of geological and geotechnical field campaigns**, ensuring proper planning, control, and quality of work performed by subcontractors. The candidate will coordinate technical activities, ensure compliance with established deadlines, and actively participate in the preparation and interpretation of geological reports. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in Geological Sciences, proven experience in field supervision, and skills in analyzing and integrating geotechnical and geological data. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate **field activities** (drilling, soundings, PCAs, in-situ tests, etc.). * Monitor the performance and compliance of **subcontractors**, ensuring work quality and timeliness. * Manage **timelines and progress** of the field campaign. * Supervise and validate **field and laboratory tests**, ensuring data integrity. * Prepare or review the **Geological Report**, capable of independently drafting it when necessary. * Support **drafters** in the interpretation and development of the **Geological Profile**. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during field operations. ### **Requirements** * **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences (mandatory). * **Minimum Experience:** 3 years in geotechnical or geological fieldwork, including supervision and campaign management responsibilities. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Supervision of drilling and soundings. * In-situ testing (SPT, CPT, Lugeon, etc.). * Geological and geotechnical interpretation. * Writing and reviewing technical reports. * Team coordination and contractor oversight. * **Competencies:** * Organizational and time management skills. * Attention to detail and focus on quality. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Autonomy and problem-solving in the field. ### **Additional Conditions (optional)** * **Availability:** to travel within the state of Querétaro and surrounding areas. * **Driver's License:** Class A or equivalent. * **Desirable Software Skills:** AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office, geological modeling tools.
