You will be responsible for developing precision CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, implementing tooling strategies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop accurate CNC machine programs and select tooling to manufacture complex parts. * Validate quality and cycle time through SPC runoffs and process evaluations. * Troubleshoot CNC-related issues and implement effective machining solutions. * Lead training sessions for shop floor personnel and programming staff. * Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and production teams to introduce new fixtures, tools, and automation strategies. * Utilize CAM software (Siemens NX, Mastercam, Vericut) for toolpath generation and simulation. * Drive continuous improvement in programming workflows, machining strategies, and cycle time reduction. * Support automation systems, including robotic pallet changers and smart manufacturing technologies. * Contribute to tooling design, machining setups, and strategies for new product introductions. * Mentor junior programmers and share best practices in advanced machining and digital manufacturing. * Ensure processes meet ISO 9001 quality standards. **Required Qualifications** * Minimum **5 years of CNC programming experience**. * Experience with **Siemens** or **Heidenhain** controls; 5-axis programming strongly preferred. * Strong understanding and practical application of **SPC techniques** for process validation. * Experience machining a wide variety of part types, particularly **chassis or powertrain components** in automotive or aerospace industries. * Deep knowledge of feeds, speeds, and cutting tool types for diverse materials. * Ability to troubleshoot fixtures and identify root causes of mechanical or process failures. * Ability to analyze pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical schematics. * Proficiency in CAM software — **Siemens NX**, **Mastercam**, **Vericut**. * Strong understanding of GD&T, fixturing, and toolpath strategies for hard metals and aluminum. * Experience with 5-axis machining, mold making, or complex surface machining. * Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, or robotics is a plus. * Comfort working in a high-paced, problem-solving environment. **Preferred Traits** * Strong technical mindset and attention to detail. * Passionate about innovation and improving manufacturing efficiency. * Excellent communication skills to coordinate between engineering and production teams. * Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly collaborative. **Benefits** * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $1.00 per month Benefits: * Savings plan * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Do you have at least 5 years of experience in CNC programming? * Do you have experience programming Siemens or Heidenhain controls? * Do you have experience with 5-axis CNC programming? * Are you proficient in at least one CAM software such as Siemens NX, Mastercam, or Vericut?
