Currently, we are seeking a design engineer in the metallurgical sector, where you will be responsible for leading the design team, ensuring the creation of innovative products that meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role drives innovation and continuous improvement within the organization by integrating technical knowledge in metallurgy with leadership and effective communication skills. **SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:** **Design Team Management::** * Coordinate the design team to ensure efficiency and quality in project development. * Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment. **Product Development::** * Supervise metallurgical product development from conceptualization to production. * Verify compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. **Innovation and Continuous Improvement::** * Promote new technologies and design methodologies. * Implement improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs. **Communication and Coordination::** * Coordinate with Production and Quality departments. * Present progress reports and proposals to senior management. **Problem Analysis and Resolution::** * Identify design issues and develop viable solutions. * Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of new projects. **Requirements:** **Requirements:** * Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in product design within the metallurgical or heavy automotive industry. * Proficiency in SolidWorks and Siemens NX. * Advanced ability in interpretation and creation of technical drawings. * Knowledge of steel design and metallic component properties. * Specific knowledge in heavy-duty trucks, including: * Hydraulic systems * Pneumatic systems * Electrical systems * Knowledge of international quality standards applicable to the industry. * Advanced English (technical and professional communication with clients and overseas plants). **Benefits:** We offer * Base salary * Major Medical Insurance (includes dental and vision plans) * 15 days year-end bonus * 25% vacation premium * 12 days of vacation (starting from the first year) * Social security * PTU/Profit sharing * Biweekly grocery vouchers
