We are seeking a proactive, organized individual with exceptional attention to detail who will contribute to our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Receiving and unloading merchandise:** You will be responsible for efficiently receiving, verifying, and unloading all merchandise entering the store. This includes inspecting incoming shipments, validating against purchase orders, and identifying any discrepancies or damage. * **Storage and organization:** You will manage proper product storage, ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), organization by category, and optimal use of available warehouse space to facilitate access and inventory control. * **Inventory management:** You will actively participate in physical and cycle inventory processes, accurately recording merchandise receipts and issuances in the appropriate system. You will maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventory records. * **Order preparation:** You will prepare orders to supply various store departments or for shipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and established timelines. * **Forklift and equipment operation:** You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and preventive maintenance requirements. * **Quality control:** You will conduct visual inspections of merchandise to ensure quality and good condition prior to storage or distribution. * **Safety and hygiene:** You will maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse area, complying with industrial safety and hygiene regulations and reporting any hazardous conditions. * **Collaboration:** You will work closely with other store departments to ensure efficient merchandise flow and integrated operations. * **Continuous improvement:** You will propose and implement process improvements in warehouse operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * **Policy compliance:** You will adhere to all Grupo Bafar policies and procedures related to warehouse operations, safety, and inventory management. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in similar positions, with specific focus on merchandise unloading and receiving. * **Knowledge:** Experience in inventory handling, product rotation, and warehouse organization. * **Skills:** Ability to work effectively in a team, attention to detail, proactivity, responsibility, and discipline. * **Physical requirements:** Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor regularly. * **Availability:** Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required. **Preferred (not mandatory):** * Certification or experience in forklift operation. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). * Completed upper secondary education.
