Key Responsibilities:* Create test definition files in Excel format and possibly other future formats for automated test systems used to test high voltage power supplies. * Locate test station equipment on the production floor and provide floor layout design updates. * Assist in maintaining inventory of PCs/peripherals/other test equipment. Assist in quoting/creating purchase orders for new PCs/peripherals/other test equipment. * Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, etc.). * Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures. * Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental Policy by following applicable procedures and instructions related to your activities. Competencies and Skills:* 2\-3 years of experience working with automated testing, measurement, data acquisition and control systems. * Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (electronics, electrical, mechatronics or directly related field). * Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition technologies, including PXI, NI Data Acquisition, Agilent Data Acquisition and signal conditioning is a plus. * Practical skills in hardware and software troubleshooting and debugging. * Experience interpreting software requirements specifications. * Knowledge of power supply functionality is a plus. * Specialized knowledge: Demonstrate ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation, and governmental/industrial standards and specifications. * Skills using electrical schematic capture software is a plus. * Skills using AutoCAD or other drawing software is a plus. * + Good understanding of basic mechanical concepts. * + Strong verbal and written communication skills in basic English. * + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
