SISSA, a leading Mexican company in electronic security and cutting-edge automation systems, is seeking **Semi-Senior Database Administrator (DBA)** Education: Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in IT, Systems, or related field. (Degree holder) Administer, secure, and optimize the organization’s databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security. Participate in preventive maintenance, backup and recovery tasks, as well as providing support to development teams and technical departments. Required knowledge: * Administration and maintenance of SQL databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Performance monitoring and query optimization. * Database backup and restoration. * Access and permission management. * Implementation and monitoring of data security policies. * Technical support for database-related issues. * Participation in continuous improvement of the data model. * Documentation of processes and configurations. * Collaboration with development teams on integrations and deployments. Experience: * Basic familiarity with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or similar platforms is desirable. * Version control: Git is desirable. * Structured work methodologies and technical documentation. Knowledge in: * SQL (mandatory). * Relational database administration. * Query optimization and tuning. * Backup and recovery. * Security and access control.
