Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect** to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud solution architecture using GCP, including planning, design, and system migration. This role is critical to driving our digital transformation initiatives and ensuring that our cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and highly available. **Responsibilities:** * **Design and Architecture:** Develop and design GCP-based solution architectures aligned with business, performance, and security requirements. * **Cloud Strategy:** Collaborate with development and operations teams to define cloud adoption strategy, including application migration and infrastructure modernization. * **Project Management:** Lead GCP implementation projects, ensuring delivery within established timelines and budgets. * **Automation and DevOps:** Implement automation and DevOps practices using GCP tools such as Cloud Build, Kubernetes Engine, and Terraform. * **Cost Optimization:** Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. * **Security and Compliance:** Ensure GCP solutions comply with security standards and industry regulations. * **Documentation:** Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for implemented architectures and migration processes. * **Technical Advisory:** Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members and stakeholders. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud solution architecture, with at least 3 years specifically on Google Cloud Platform. * **Certifications:** Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (mandatory); additional GCP certifications are a plus. * **Technical Knowledge:** In-depth knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, among others. * **Programming Languages:** Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar. * **DevOps Skills:** Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) management. * **Communication:** Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * **Problem Solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical and scalable solutions. * **Education:** Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
