Job Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Officer to optimize costs, ensure quality, develop suppliers, and manage risks across the supply chain within a Mexican group with 30 years of experience. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the procurement strategy for sourcing critical materials. 2. Negotiate terms with domestic and international suppliers. 3. Develop and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality and capacity. We are a Mexican corporate group with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to meeting project execution needs across various industrial sectors, offering integrated solutions including design, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, maintenance, commissioning, and rental of process equipment and industrial plants. We are currently seeking a **Procurement Officer.** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum Experience: 7 years as a Procurement Manager and 3 years in metal-mechanical companies. **Objective:** Ensure timely and efficient supply of inputs and services required for operations; optimizing costs, guaranteeing maximum quality, developing suppliers, and managing supply chain risks. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure supply of critical materials. * Coordinate with production and engineering departments to ensure material flow and prevent shortages. * Supervise inbound logistics and purchase order fulfillment. * Maintain historical pricing records for raw materials, components, and equipment. * Implement, maintain, and improve procurement department procedures. * Develop performance indicators and KPIs for the department and team members under supervision. * Support internal and external audits of the Integrated Management System and ASME standards. * Lead and supervise the procurement team across headquarters, plant, and site locations. * Negotiate price, quality, volume, and delivery timelines with domestic and international suppliers. * Analyze trends in the metal-mechanical market to anticipate price changes and secure optimal contracts. * Develop and evaluate suppliers, selecting those that meet required quality and capacity standards. **Competencies:** Negotiation skills, resource management, integrity. **Knowledge:** Technical knowledge of materials, ISO 9001, 14001, and 37001 standards, basic ASME standards, fundamentals of international trade, market trend analysis.
