Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the availability and optimal condition of injection molds through preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee the quality of plastic parts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds. 2. Diagnosis of failures in mold-related components. 3. Maintenance log administration and spare parts inventory management. A leading medical device manufacturing company is seeking: ***Mold maker/Moldero*** **Objective Summary** Ensure the availability and optimal condition of injection molds for production. Responsible for executing the **preventive maintenance plan** (cleaning, lubrication, seal replacement) and **corrective maintenance** (cavity repair, clamping adjustments, electrical system repairs) to ensure plastic part quality and prevent line stoppages. **Main Responsibilities** * **Disassembly and Cleaning:** Disassemble complex molds for deep cleaning and removal of gas or polymer residues. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Inspect cooling circuits (flow and leak tests) and lubricate moving components (ejector pins, slides, guide pillars). * **Failure Diagnosis:** Identify root causes of part defects (flash, short shots, sink marks) related to mold condition. * **Corrective Maintenance:** Adjust inserts, repair damaged cores, and ensure smooth ejection system operation without jamming. * **Administration:** Complete maintenance logs and manage spare parts inventory (springs, bolts, seals). **Requirements:** * **Experience:** 5 years of experience in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and adjustment of plastic injection molds. * **Education:** Technical degree in Machine Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Statutory and above-statutory benefits. * Punctuality bonus. * Grocery vouchers. * Free transportation within the area. **Work Location:** Chalco, EDOMEX * Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturday mornings Salary: $20,000\.00 \- $22,000\.00 per hour Workplace: On-site employment
