Position Summary: The Logistics Supervisor coordinates and optimizes the flow of goods from receipt to delivery, ensuring efficient processes and customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Objective Summary** The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and optimizing all activities related to the flow of goods—from warehouse receipt to final customer delivery. Their primary goal is to ensure that processes are executed on time, correctly, and at the lowest possible cost, safeguarding inventory integrity and customer satisfaction. **2\. Key Responsibilities** * **Operations Management:** Supervise goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch * **Transportation Management:** Plan delivery routes and supervise carriers (in-house or third-party) to meet scheduled delivery windows. * **Team Leadership:** Lead, train, and motivate operational staff (warehouse workers, forklift operators, drivers). * **Safety and Hygiene:** Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * **KPI Monitoring:** Track key indicators such as: * Diesel fuel loading accuracy * Perishable order cycle time * Transportation cost per unit * Delivery fulfillment rate **3\. Required Profile** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience in transportation. * **Experience:** 1–5 years in similar roles, preferably in distribution centers (CEDIS) or inventory control programs. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in relevant systems * Excel (pivot tables and formulas for reporting) * Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations **4\.
