





A Scale Operator at an Aggregate Mill is primarily responsible for recording the weight of vehicles entering and exiting the plant, as well as managing information related to these weights and the corresponding documentation and reports. SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS Record the gross weight, tare weight, and net weight of vehicles transporting aggregates. Enter weighing information into the computer system, including data such as arrival and departure times, license plate number, and vehicle number. Record and verify vehicle entry and exit from the plant. Maintain the scale and computer equipment in good working condition by performing regular cleaning and inspections. Generate daily and monthly reports containing detailed information on conducted weighings. Report irregularities or issues identified during the weighing process, such as overweight vehicles. Follow established safety protocols for scale operation and workplace safety. Verify that aggregates meet established quality specifications, where applicable. Provide information and assistance to vehicle drivers regarding the weighing process.
