At **INDE**, we are seeking a **STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING MANAGER** Position Objective To lead the structural analysis department within Projects, serving as the technical responsible for analysis, design, and coordination of the structural executive project for developments. Leads the preparation of calculations and technical reports, ensures compliance with applicable regulations and deliverable quality, coordinates external structural engineers, and leads personnel under their supervision, providing on-site technical support during construction execution. Functions and Responsibilities (Key Role) 1\. Technical Leadership in Structural Engineering  Perform and/or supervise structural modeling, analysis, and design (foundations, superstructures, walls, columns, slabs, etc.).  Define design criteria, structural solutions, and technical guidelines for the department.  Ensure compliance with applicable state and municipal regulations. 2\. Management of the Structural Executive Project  Plan, coordinate, and monitor the structural executive project (internal and subcontracted).  Manage deliverables: drawings, technical reports, specifications, quantity take-offs, and construction details.  Control progress, milestones, and departmental priorities based on the construction schedule and project requirements. 3\. Coordination of Specialists and Interdisciplinary Integration  Coordinate integration with architecture, building services (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.), and cost estimation to prevent interferences and rework.  Identify technical risks and propose preventive measures to minimize errors during construction. 4\. On-Site Construction Support and Technical Supervision  Conduct periodic site visits to resolve queries, address pending items, and verify correct interpretation of the structural design.  Issue technical clarifications, notes, and/or drawing updates as required.  Monitor activities related to DRO/Experts, responses, and required reports. 5\. Coordination with Cost Estimation, Procurement, and Document Control  Provide technical information to the Cost Estimation team for budgeting and validation (following prior coordination with Project Management).  Manage purchase requisitions and payment follow-up for external designers and suppliers related to the department.  Maintain complete, organized, and traceable structural documentation (digital and hard copy). 6\. Team Leadership and Development  Assign tasks, review progress, and evaluate performance of supervised personnel.  Coordinate and supervise work performed by external structural engineers, reviewing quality, scope, and adherence to deadlines.  Promote continuous improvement, standardization of criteria, and technical training for the team. Experience Requirements (MANDATORY)  Proven experience in structural design and calculation for vertical buildings of at least 5 stories (preferably residential high-rises / mixed-use developments).  Experience with cast-in-place concrete wall construction systems (structural concrete walls, staged casting, joint control, detailing, and coordination for execution).  Coordination of structural executive projects and on-site construction support (resolving on-site queries, adjustments, and issuing technical clarifications). Knowledge and Tools  Advanced structural design: foundations, frames, walls, floor systems, loads, and load combinations.  Design and analysis of cast-in-place concrete wall systems: o Modeling and analysis of structural walls, diaphragms, coupling elements, lateral stiffness, and drift control. o Criteria for casting sequence, cold joints, staged stiffness changes, and coordination with formwork/shoring. o Reinforcement detailing, openings, local reinforcement, anchorage, and interfaces with slabs/foundations.  Applicable state and municipal regulations related to structures and structural safety.  Coordination with architecture and engineering disciplines.  Software: o ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE o AutoCAD, Revit (desirable) o SketchUp (desirable) o Office (advanced Excel desirable) o OneDrive / document management o Neodata (desirable) o Project management tools (Monday / Asana / Project / Notion) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $30,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
