We are a custom furniture manufacturing company specializing in fine woodworking—including solid wood and panel materials—primarily serving commercial and hospitality sectors.
**Job Description:**
The warehouse clerk is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling the inventory of materials and tools. Their primary function is to ensure materials are available and in optimal condition for production, thereby contributing to workshop efficiency and productivity, as well as maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing items. This includes arranging newly received materials and creating space in the workshop to accommodate them; organizing finished furniture pieces exiting production; and managing wood waste and debris.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Receiving, inspecting, and recording materials and supplies delivered to the workshop.
* Proper storage of woods, hardware, paints, finishes, and other raw materials—ensuring preservation and easy access.
* Conducting periodic inventory checks to verify quantities, conditions, and expiration dates, making necessary adjustments.
* Controlling material inflows and outflows while maintaining precise digital records.
* Maintaining order and cleanliness in the storage area to prevent damage and facilitate material location.
* Complying with safety and hygiene regulations in the storage area.
* Assisting in the Packing Department or wherever support is needed.
* Preparing material kits for each production project according to work orders.
* Performing periodic physical inventories (weekly, biweekly, and/or monthly).
* Creating storage space for incoming raw materials.
* Correctly labeling stored materials and products.
* Assisting in loading and unloading of goods.
* Proper arrangement and storage to protect materials (by type: panels, solid wood, hardware, etc.).
* Separating and safeguarding returned or surplus project materials.
* Reporting damage, deterioration, or losses immediately.
* Managing waste.
* Transporting woodworking furniture to lacquering.
**Requirements:**
* Completed secondary education or related technical training.
* Prior experience in inventory management or warehousing, preferably in workshops or similar environments.
* Knowledge of tool and material handling.
* Ability to organize, classify, and maintain accurate records.
* Good physical condition for moving and handling heavy or bulky materials.
* Teamwork skills and attention to detail.
* Basic computer proficiency.
