Job Summary: This role is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages, managing routes, and serving as the company's face to customers—with an emphasis on road safety and service. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure timely, efficient, and secure package delivery. 2. Manage the route from initial loading to end-of-shift closure. 3. Maintain a focus on road safety and excellent service. The driver serves as the company's face to the customer and is responsible for managing their route from initial loading at the Distribution Center through to shift closure—always maintaining a focus on road safety and excellent service. Responsibilities: Loading and Validation: Arrive punctually at the Distribution Center for route assignment, scanning, loading packages onto the vehicle, and validating against discrepancies. Navigation and Driving: Safely transport to the designated delivery zone while strictly adhering to traffic regulations and road safety policies. Package Delivery: Deliver packages to end customers, ensuring courteous interaction and efficiently using technological tools (smartphone/app) to record each delivery. Return Management: Return to the Distribution Center upon route completion to report, process, and physically hand over undelivered packages, as well as return the assigned vehicle. Generate an official incident report for the route or vehicle. Requirements • Valid driver’s license. • Minimum 6 months’ experience as a delivery driver (package delivery preferred). • Immediate availability. • Easy access to the Distribution Center. • Valid and complete documentation. • Mandatory anti-drug testing and background verification.
