Position Summary: We are seeking a General Accountant responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and organization of the group’s accounting and financial information. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive management of accounting and financial information. 2. Bank reconciliations and oversight of accounting journal entries. 3. Support in preparing international financial statements. We are seeking a General Accountant responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and organization of the group’s accounting and financial information. **Responsibilities** * Accurately record and classify accounting transactions across various group entities. * Perform and ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations. * Prepare, organize, and safeguard accounting documentation required for external accounting services, audits, and tax processes. * Record payroll in NetSuite, ensuring financial and accounting consistency. * Support preparation of financial reporting for Panama, Colombia, and Spain. * Supervise and validate accounting journal entries according to guidelines set by the Financial Controller. * Supervise generation of payment complements. * Supervise payments to internal and external suppliers, subject to authorization by the Head of Finance and Controlling. * Monitor and control corporate card records, ensuring orderly and clear transaction tracking. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * Demonstrable experience in accounting processes. * Experience in bank reconciliations. * Knowledge of applicable tax regulations. * Ability to work with multiple entities while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy. *Desirable* * Experience with NetSuite or other financial ERP systems. * Experience in international accounting operations. * Additional knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. * Certifications or additional training in accounting or financial analysis.
