Position Summary: Ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of flexographic machinery and production assets through an integrated maintenance system. Key Highlights: 1. Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance management. 2. Drive continuous improvement and process optimization. 3. Supervise a technical team in a flexographic environment. MAINTENANCE MANAGER – FLEXOGRAPHIC PLANT 1️ Position Objective Ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of flexographic machines, adhesive bonding equipment, compressors, electrical systems, and other production assets through a preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance system that minimizes downtime and maximizes plant productivity. 2️ Reports To: Plant Manager / Operations Management 3️ Supervises: * Maintenance technicians * Electricians * Industrial mechanics * Maintenance assistants 4️ Key Responsibilities Operational Maintenance * Develop and execute the annual preventive maintenance plan. * Reduce recurring failures in: \* * Flexographic machines * Adhesive bonding lines * Vacuum systems * Compressors * Electrical panels * Motors and gearboxes \* * Supervise urgent corrective repairs. * Ensure fault-free startup at the beginning of each shift. Management and Control * Maintain technical history records per machine. * Implement key performance indicators (KPIs): \* * MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) * MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) * Availability % \* * Control of critical spare parts. * Annual maintenance budget. * Root cause analysis of repetitive failures. Safety and Compliance * Compliance with industrial safety NOM standards. * Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. * Supervise safe conditions in electrical panels. * Train personnel on proper machinery operation. Continuous Improvement * Propose technical improvements for: \* * Reducing vibrations * Improving alignments * Optimizing energy consumption * Decreasing scrap due to mechanical failures \* * Implement predictive maintenance: \* * Thermography * Vibration analysis * Bearing temperature measurement \* (This strongly aligns with your consideration of thermal cameras for your flexo presses). 5️ Technical Profile Education * Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field. * Higher technical degree with extensive verifiable experience.
