Job Summary: This Quality Engineer role ensures implementation of the integrated system, identifies improvement opportunities, validates suppliers, and manages audit, inspection, and documentation processes. We welcome you to apply to our opening if you feel your experience and background align with the responsibilities described below. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Ensures follow-up and implementation of the Integrated System by collaborating with departments to identify improvement opportunities within the system and implementing actions to strengthen it. Validates that suppliers comply with required guidelines, working collaboratively with them to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions supporting achievement of quality performance within target. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** ***Product and OOBA Audit Process*** · Ensures proper follow-up on product and OOBA audits conducted by Quality auditors and technicians. · Tracks nonconformities identified during audits to ensure continuous process improvement. ***Incoming Inspection Process*** · Ensures proper follow-up on incoming receipt inspections conducted by Quality auditors and technicians. · Validates and tracks nonconformities generated during inspection. · Tracks DMRs to closure within the established timeframe. · Generates reports. ***Process Documentation*** · Collaborates with the Process Engineer to ensure required area documentation remains up-to-date. o Quality Plan o Procedures o Visual Aids o Area Standards. ***FA (First Article)*** · Tracks the First Article procedure. · Contacts Corporate Engineering in case of questions regarding FA documentation. · Conducts FA inspection and reporting, keeping the work team informed. · Updates the FA database. ***Calibration*** · Defines, documents, and updates the internal and external calibration process for measurement and test equipment. · Develops the database to be used for documenting calibration records. · Generates required visual aids for verification of measurement and test equipment. · Maintains the calibration database up-to-date. · Generates monthly reports. ***ESD*** · Defines, documents, and updates the ESD process required at the facility. · Generates the database for ESD station verification. · Maintains the database up-to-date. · Conducts ESD training for required personnel. · Generates monthly reports. * Serves as backup for the Quality Technician. **SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE** · 2 years of experience as a Junior Quality Engineer. · Intermediate English (technical) · Microsoft Office Suite · Knowledge of calibration, use, and handling of measurement and test equipment · Knowledge of ESD station verification and control · Knowledge of ISO 14001 audits **EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** · Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field. · Lean Manufacturing, Green Belt (preferred) **PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS** · Job requires constant movement · Occasionally required to lift finished product boxes · Must collaborate with Warehouse, Production, and Engineering supervisors **SALARY AND BENEFITS:** Nominal monthly salary: **$26,460** **Benefits** * Year-end bonus (15 to 30 days) * Vacation premium (40% to 80%) * 10% savings fund * 10% food vouchers * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Subsidized cafeteria service Work schedule: * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (one-hour lunch break) Work location: On-site employment located in Zapopan Norte (ZIP Code 45134\) Position type: Full-time Salary: $26,460\.00 per month Benefits: * Company parking * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Discounted cafeteria service * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Food vouchers Experience: * Quality Engineering: 2 years (Mandatory) Language: * Intermediate English (technical) (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
