Agricultural Operations Manager

**\+ Position Purpose** The Agricultural Production Manager is responsible for leading analytical and operational processes that ensure compliance with the annual production plan in cultivation areas. Their role is to develop and guarantee, through their team, the implementation of an annual work plan to ensure achievement of yield, quality, and cost targets under sustainable and safe practices. Their management focuses on generating timely visibility regarding performance by zone, producer, and crop, and ensuring the implementation of necessary corrective or improvement actions to achieve established objectives. **\+ Main Functions** · Define the annual master production plan (work plan), including planting, pruning, harvest dates, etc. · Approve fertigation and phytosanitary calendars proposed by technical managers. · Manage the agricultural operations budget (labor, inputs, services), income and expenses. · Prepare purchase requisitions, control inventories. · Define and implement key performance and cost indicators. · Ensure compliance with food safety standards and certifications. · Coordinate weekly meetings with area managers to monitor progress and identify risks. · Make strategic decisions to mitigate contingencies (weather, pests, labor). · Report results to General Management. · Propose smart tools or technologies that improve efficiency. · Establish clear and understandable procedures for teams. · Motivate and evaluate operational and technical staff. **\+ Job Requirements** · Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or Agribusiness. · Minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural production management or improvement of operational processes, quality management, or operations. · Experience managing productivity indicators and cost control. · Knowledge of agricultural certifications (preferably organic) and quality regulations. · Knowledge and implementation of technological tools for agricultural management. · Leadership, effective communication, and decision-making skills. · Availability to reside in an agricultural area and conduct frequent field visits. **\+ Competencies** · Leadership and authority to manage teams · Results orientation · Analytical skills · Organization and planning · Decision-making · Management skills · Character · Effective communication **\+ Location** · Padilla, Tamaulipas and surrounding areas of Jaumave, Tamaulipas. **\+ Requirements** Completed engineering degree.
