The Material Handler B is responsible for packaging and preparing materials for shipment, loading and unloading trucks, storing materials in the warehouse, receiving items, and delivering items to the production area. **Essential Functions:** * Capable of accurately executing and processing receiving procedures * Skilled and able to efficiently process/transact the following warehouse functions: o Picking o Line feeding o Storing o Truck unloading o Receiving o Material consolidation * Must hold valid certification * Processing shipments including truck loading * Material consolidation * Knowledge of manufacturing facility safety protocols * Demonstrated functional knowledge of the SAP system **Management and Supervisory Responsibilities:** * This position is not responsible for supervising other employees. **Knowledge:** * SAP * Must possess DC\-3 Forklift and/or mobile equipment operation certification. * Skilled and able to provide mentoring on mobile equipment operation. * Computer literacy, including but not limited to Microsoft Office **Experience:** * One year of experience in a similar role **Skills:** Capable of standing on hard surfaces for up to eight hours per day Capable of lifting 50 pounds easily Capable of carrying 50 pounds unassisted for 25 feet Capable of lifting 30 pounds from waist to head height using both hands Capable of working in a manufacturing environment that may expose you to loud noise, dust, chemicals, and variable temperatures.
