Regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. **Job Objective** **To provide comprehensive legal advisory and support for real estate transactions, ensuring proper legal structuring of projects, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and contracts, as well as regulatory compliance and mitigation of legal risks.** **Functions and Responsibilities** **1\. Contracts and Real Estate Transactions** * **Drafting and reviewing contracts for:** * **Real estate purchase and sale agreements.** * **Pre-contractual purchase agreements.** * **Leases.** * **Assignment of rights.** * **Service and construction agreements.** * **Review of public deeds.** * **Coordination with notaries and public brokers.** * **Monitoring deed registration processes.** **2\. Due Diligence and Regularization** * **Review of registry background records.** * **Analysis of the legal status of land and properties.** * **Regularization of parcels.** * **Filing procedures with the Public Property Registry.** * **Management of municipal permits and licenses.** **3\. Regulatory Compliance** * **Ensuring compliance with civil, commercial, and urban legislation.** * **Advisory services on condominium ownership regimes.** * **Review of internal regulations.** * **Monitoring contractual compliance.** **4\. Conflict Management** * **Handling disputes with clients, tenants, or suppliers.** * **Monitoring judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.** * **Coordination with external law firms (if applicable).** * **Negotiation of settlements and agreements.** **5\. Corporate Matters** * **Drafting minutes of shareholders’ meetings.** * **Formation and amendment of corporate entities.** * **Maintenance of corporate books.** * **Legal structuring advisory for new projects.** **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * **Reduction of legal risks and contingencies.** * **Response time for contract drafting.** * **Successful closing of transactions without legal incidents.** * **Regulatory compliance in projects.** * **Effective recovery in legal proceedings.** **Position Profile** **Academic Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s Degree in Law (graduated with professional license).** * **Preferred specialization in Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, or Notarial Law.** **Experience** * **3 to 5 years in real estate law.** * **Experience with real estate developers, construction companies, or notary offices.** * **Familiarity with deed registration processes and condominium regimes.** **Technical Knowledge** * **Civil and commercial law.** * **Urban and municipal legislation.** * **Registry procedures.** * **Contract drafting and analysis.** * **Real estate litigation (preferred).** **Competencies** * **Legal analysis.** * **Negotiation.** * **Technical writing.** * **Attention to detail.** **Ethics and Confidentiality** Employment type: Full-time Salary: $7,662.92 \- $20,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract Experience: * real estate law: 2 years (Mandatory) Work location: Remote hybrid in 22020, Chapultepec, B.C.
