This role may help assess range of motion and muscle strength, as well as develop personalized therapy plans for each client. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Assess specific client needs such as muscle stiffness, joint mobility, or stress relief. * Develop personalized therapy plans based on individual client requirements. * Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. * Maintain open communication with clients, adjusting massage techniques as needed to ensure comfort, satisfaction, and effectiveness. * Document treatments, client progress, and concerns to provide the most comprehensive care possible. * Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and professional standards. * Maintain the highest level of client confidentiality and professionalism at all times. * Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques to perform at home. * Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Requires knowledge and skills acquired through formal training or considerable work experience * Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision * Has 2 to 3 years of work experience **Competencies** ---------------- Accountability Business experience Advocating for guest needs Self-development Impact Interpersonal skills Functional job knowledge Leadership Problem solving Teamwork and collaboration**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
