JOB DESCRIPTION Supervise operational and administrative activities of the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Inspection System at inspection sites, aiming to strengthen emerging animal health measures under the National Animal Health Emergency Device (DINESA), to prevent the spread of cattle grub worm. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, Biology, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields. Minimum two (2\) years of experience in similar positions. Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES \* Collaborate in the response to and management of public health emergencies, in accordance with established protocols. \* Assist in reviewing supporting documentation submitted for animal consignments, verifying compliance with applicable regulatory provisions governing their movement. \* Conduct physical inspections of animals, examining both sides of the handling chute and inspecting all body parts, with special attention to detecting wounds, injuries, or presence of myiasis. \* Record relevant information on inspected consignments, as well as data contained in the Zoosanitary Movement Certificate (CZM) and other supporting documents, into the Integrated Verification and Inspection Points System (SIPVI) or the Daily Inspection Record (RDI), in compliance with current regulations governing animal movement.
