





A cultural-creative company that designs and produces functional art objects for international markets, currently undergoing organizational structuring and expansion, is seeking a **Carpenter** to join the team and support timely and accurate achievement of production goals: **Key responsibilities:** * Select, transport, and organize materials according to project specifications. Perform straight or simple cuts, drilling, and recessing in accordance with measurements indicated on blueprints or direct instructions. * Sand surfaces, edges, and joints using manual or electric tools to facilitate assembly and finishing. * Remove burrs and verify that parts are clean and ready for assembly or lacquering. * Assemble furniture structures or subassemblies using standard techniques such as doweling, screwing, gluing, and clamping. Ensure correct alignment and stability of each component before submission for inspection. * Assist in applying decorative elements (collage, inlays, mixed surface coatings) under the guidance of the master carpenter or designer, taking care not to damage finishes or alter the intended design. * Participate in reviewing and adjusting movable parts, testing structural resistance, or performing minor touch-ups required prior to lacquering or final delivery. * Carry out simple corrections under supervision. * Report equipment malfunctions or wear to the designated supervisor. * Maintain a tidy, contaminant-free workstation, adhering to process hygiene standards to prevent defects caused by impurities. * Strictly comply with safety regulations when handling chemicals and equipment. **Requirements:** * Basic ability to read blueprints, measurements, and work orders. * Fundamental cutting, assembly, and sanding techniques. * Safe use of hand tools (hand saw, drill, squares, chisels) and basic machinery (circular saw, jigsaw, sander). * Familiarity with wood, MDF, and adhesives. * General knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes: preparation, assembly, adjustment, and pre-finishing. * Basic knowledge of finishing: sanding, sealing, preparation for lacquering. * Basic understanding of tolerances and precise measurements. **Education/Training:** * Basic education (primary or secondary school) * Basic vocational training in trades, carpentry, or artisanal manufacturing is desirable. **Glassford Moncada offers you:** * Weekly take-home salary of $3,000–$3,500 * Statutory benefits * Punctuality bonus * Indefinite-term contract option * Opportunities for professional development * Competitive salary based on talent and experience * Paid afternoon off on your birthday Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Location: Zapopan Centro, Jalisco Position type: Indefinite-term employment Salary: $12,000.00 – $14,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Indefinite-term contract option * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
