A leading company in the automotive sector is looking for your talent as: * Odoo Developer **Academic Background** * Suggested degrees: Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. * Certifications: Odoo certification or other technical courses in Python or PostgreSQL are valued. * Basic English **Required Experience** * Total years of experience: 2 to 4 years developing with Odoo. * Minimum Python development experience: 3 years. * Experience in full implementation projects: at least 2 projects involving participation from analysis through deployment. * Experience in external integrations: desirable experience with REST APIs, external services, or web portals connected to Odoo. * Experience in migrations or version upgrades: desirable to have participated in at least one migration. * Work environments: Linux (Ubuntu or Debian), Git, Docker or virtualized environments. **Technical Knowledge** * Python (object-oriented programming, decorators, exception handling, data structures). * Odoo ORM framework: inheritance, decorators, compute, store, related. * XML views: form, list, kanban, graph, pivot, QWeb, and basic web controllers. * PostgreSQL: queries, relationships, joins, and indexes. * Linux: environment management, logs, modules, and updates. * Integrations with REST APIs, JSON, token-based authentication, and webhooks. * Version control with Git (branches, commits, merge, conflict resolution). * Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). **Responsibilities** * Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Odoo. * Develop and maintain custom modules: models, views, wizards, reports, workflows, and security rules. * Optimize code and queries, applying performance best practices. * Perform integrations with external services via REST APIs or XML-RPC. * Collaborate with functional consultants and key users during testing and validation. * Participate in code reviews and proposals for framework improvements. **We Offer:** * Preferential pricing * Salary: $30,000 gross monthly * On-site working hours: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday mornings Job Type: Full-time Salary: $30,000.55 per month Work Location: On-site employment
