




**Your Role** As an Equipment and Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery—including electrical controls, mechanical components, pneumatic systems, and sensors. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and resolve equipment failures, and follow instructions precisely to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. **Our Team** You will join the Optical Capabilities team within the OSBU division, collaborating with specialists in automation and maintenance in a high-tech manufacturing environment. **What You’ll Do** * Install, maintain, support, and repair complex machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic controls. * Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine efficiency and performance. * Accurately and promptly document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications. * Ensure all machinery and systems comply with safety regulations and industrial standards. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Proactively escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate technical or supervisory level. **Who You Are (Basic Requirements)** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. * 1–3 years of experience in automation or maintenance. * Knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, electrical controls, and basic programming. * Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and solve complex technical problems. * Effective communication skills and a positive attitude to follow instructions precisely. * Experience and knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safe maintenance. * Proficiency with measurement tools such as multimeters and calipers. **What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)** * Education or experience in electronics, plastics, or industries involving automated processes. * Studies in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering or Technology. * Experience with automated processes and industrial electronic systems.
