**Job Description: Preventive Maintenance Technician** **Job Summary** The Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspections, scheduled maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation, extend service life, and prevent failures. This position requires technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Preventive Maintenance:** * Perform periodic inspections of mechanical, electrical, and irrigation equipment (golf carts, lawn mowers, irrigation systems, pumps, etc.). * Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts. * Monitor the condition of green areas, drainage systems, and playing surfaces to prevent deterioration. * **Corrective Maintenance:** * Diagnose and repair faults in equipment and facilities, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Respond promptly to repair requests to minimize operational disruptions at the club. * **Area Management:** * Inspect and maintain specialized machinery such as lawn mowers, aerators, and automated irrigation systems. * **Inventory and Safety Control:** * Maintain records of tools, spare parts, and materials used in maintenance tasks. * Ensure all equipment and tools are operating properly and monitor warranty conditions. * Report any anomalies or potential risks in the facilities. * **Documentation and Reporting:** * Prepare reports on maintenance activities performed and the status of equipment. * Keep preventive and corrective maintenance records up to date. * Propose improvements in maintenance processes to optimize resources. * **Inventory Management**: Verify and request spare parts or tools necessary for maintenance, maintaining adequate inventory control. * **Record Keeping and Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of activities performed, including maintenance reports, inspection logs, and updates to work journals. * **Team Collaboration**: Coordinate with other departments or technicians to schedule maintenance without affecting regular business operations. **Job Requirements** * **Education**: Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechanics, or related field. * **Experience**: Minimum 1\-2 years in preventive or corrective maintenance in industrial environments. * **Technical Knowledge**: * Proficiency with hand and power tools. * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals. * **Skills**: * Attention to detail and analytical ability.
