- Responsible for tracking, providing responses and action plans to customer reports or CSEs related to the quality of our product. Responsible for coordinating the cross-functional team to analyze and define action plans for quality issues reported by the customer. Primary contact with CSEs. * Respond and follow up on quality reports issued by the customer * Provide customer support at assembly plants when required. * Ensure compliance with DBS quality systems and procedures, as well as achievement of quality objectives. * Ensure implementation of corrective actions for internal, external, and system-related quality issues. * Keep quality reports updated, deployed, and ensure their submission (where applicable). * Active member of the value chain * Ensure that feedback responses to suppliers are appropriate and provided on time * Generate cost recoveries for costs incurred by the plant due to raw material quality issues. * Promote preventive actions to avoid accidents * Generate supplier performance reports. Administration of internal control checklists * Follow up and ensure that expenses due to supplier issues * are recovered by the plant through Covisint cost recoveries.**Background/Skills** * Good communication skills (verbal and written) * Fluent and effective verbal and written communication in English. 85% negotiation skills. * Teamwork. * Leadership. * Organized, proactive * Proficient in PC usage (MS Office, primarily Excel with knowledge to develop macros) * Flexibility to perform activities at different hours. * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
