A home for everyone. **Overview:** Use Calibri 18 font here **Responsibilities:** Responsible for creating or fabricating objects (e.g., toilets, tanks, sinks, pedestals, bidets, etc.) from engineering drawings, sketches, or blueprints, applying all relevant expertise to produce parts according to the specifications outlined above. 1.\- Develop master molds based on a model, aligned with process requirements. 2.\- Fabricate master molds from ultracal to prevent deformation during mold production. 4.\- Consider mold construction requirements when fabricating the master mold. 5.\- Account for key ceramic process variables such as wall thicknesses, radii, etc. 5.\- Must understand mold manufacturing principles, since molds will be fabricated based on the master mold and process requirements. 6.\- Use of resins and urethanes: strict adherence to resin manufacturers’ instructions is essential to avoid poorly manufactured molds due to issues such as incorrect hardener application. 7.\- The mold maker must determine in advance how many components the mold will comprise. 8.\- The model maker must be qualified to fabricate any type of mold — for sinks, bidets, toilets, urinals, or accessories such as polyurethane rests, etc. **Qualifications:** A.\- Must interpret engineering drawings and apply knowledge in model development, including symmetry and shrinkage allowances related to the applicable manufacturing process. B.\- Knowledge of the metric decimal system and the imperial system, including conversions between them. C.\- General modeling concepts: draft angles for demolding, application of maximum and minimum corner radii, use of tools for model fabrication.
