




If you are a psychologist, have experience working with high school students, are dynamic and creative, seek opportunities for professional development and growth, and possess knowledge of educational technologies, this position is for you. ***THE COPÁN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IS SEEKING FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR*** ***"HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COUNSELOR"*** **Requirements:** **\-Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (mandatory)** \-Minimum 3 years of experience as a counselor at the high school level (mandatory). \-Group management and communication with parents/guardians. **Responsibilities:** 1\.\- Coordinate the induction and adaptation process for newly enrolled students in collaboration with homeroom teachers and the high school administration. a) Follow-up interviews with newly enrolled students. 2\.\- Provide personalized supervision for students at academic or disciplinary risk to ensure they achieve their goals and remain enrolled in the school, as well as compliance with established agreements. 3\.\- Provide psychological first aid to students experiencing emotional crises (e.g., anxiety, stress, peer conflict), prior to referral to the Psychology Department. 4\.\- Support the student community in reflective processes arising from disciplinary incidents referred by the Academic Development Office. 5\.\- Foster a sense of belonging to our institution among students, encouraging them to begin and complete their academic training within the Copán Educational System. 6\.\- Teach the course “Gender Equality” to first-semester students. 7\.\- Serve as a group tutor: provide academic and personal guidance and follow-up for students; support conflict mediation and resolution; monitor students’ adaptation to the educational environment. **We offer:** \-Base salary \-Job stability. \-Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. \-Statutory and above-statutory benefits. \-Ongoing professional training.
