***Job Objective*** Perform the **polishing and surface finishing of metal utensils**, ensuring compliance with **quality, aesthetic, hygiene, and safety standards**, according to the required finish type **(mirror, 2P matte, and PV3)**, guaranteeing that the product is ready for inspection and release as a finished product. ***Functions and Responsibilities*** **Polishing and Finishing** * Perform polishing of metal utensils according to the requested finish: **Mirror finish, 2P matte finish, and PV3 finish.** * Correctly select and use: discs, sandpaper, abrasive pastes, and manual and electric tools. * Remove scratches, burrs, weld marks, or other surface imperfections. * Maintain visual uniformity and consistency across each piece. **Quality and Inspection** * Conduct **visual self-inspection** of the finish before releasing the piece. * Ensure pieces meet requirements for: specified texture, gloss or matte level, cleanliness, and presentation. * Immediately report defects, damage, or deviations to the Supervisor. * Support the Quality department during inspections when required. **Order, Cleanliness, and Safety** * Keep workstation clean and organized. * Comply with mandatory use of **PPE** (gloves, goggles, mask, etc.). * Properly handle waste and abrasive materials. * Comply with industrial safety and hygiene regulations. **Operational Support** * Support deburring and cleaning activities when required. * Meet established standard production times. * Collaborate with other process areas to ensure continuous workflow. ***Job Requirements*** **Education:** Completed primary or secondary school (preferred). **Experience:** * Minimum **1 year of experience in polishing utensils or metal parts**. * Demonstrable experience in mirror and matte finishes (stainless steel industry preferred). **Knowledge:** * Types of metal finishes. * Use of polishing tools. * Identification of surface defects. * Good manufacturing practices. **Skills:** * Attention to detail. * Manual dexterity. * Work under quality standards. * Teamwork. * Focus on order and cleanliness. **Working Conditions:** * Standing work throughout the shift. * Exposure to noise, metallic dust, and vibration (with PPE). * Use of electric tools. **Job Type:** Full-time. **Work Location:** Iztapalapa. * **Important:** This vacancy complies with the Federal Law to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination.
