Focus on safety and problem solving Grupo Guerrero Contreras is seeking an aerial work platform mechanic, including gennis operators, responsible for preventive and corrective (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical) maintenance of scissor lifts, articulating booms, telescopic booms, gennis units, backhoe loaders, forklifts, etc. Ensure safe operation through accurate diagnostics and component repairs. Job Objective: Ensure availability, reliability, and operational safety of the aerial work platform (AWP) fleet through comprehensive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance: Perform technical inspections, oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication according to manufacturer manuals. Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and repair failures in hydraulic systems (cylinders, pumps), electrical systems (batteries, wiring), and mechanical systems (diesel/electric motors). Safety: Ensure emergency systems, emergency stops, load limits, and tilt sensors function correctly. Documentation: Record service orders, repairs, and replacement parts used. Field Response: Address breakdowns at job sites or workshops. Technical Requirements: Education: Mechanical technician, electromechanical technician, or related field. Knowledge: High-pressure hydraulic systems, electrical/electronic circuits, internal combustion and electric motors. Experience: Minimum 1\-3 years repairing heavy machinery, forklifts, or lifting equipment. Skills: Fault diagnosis (troubleshooting), use of measurement tools and diagnostic equipment. Competencies: High attention to detail and strong focus on safety (working-at-height regulations). Logical and systematic problem solving. Capacity for continuous learning. Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights and handle heavy tools. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM Schedule Flexibility Strong sense of urgency Work Location: On-site employment Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Up to $21,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
