**RED DOCTOR´S**
**POSITION PURPOSE**
To provide comprehensive and high-quality care to patients across assigned services, ensuring safe, timely, and humanized care. Nursing staff will support operational continuity within the department, **covering incidents**, and contribute to optimal service functionality.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Provision of care in the **Emergency Department**.
* Patient reception and **initial assessment** (vital signs measurement, weight, height, and medical history).
* Administration of **treatments prescribed by physicians**.
* Administration of **medications via oral, intramuscular, intravenous, and subcutaneous routes**.
* Collaboration in **minor medical procedures** (e.g., suturing, drainage, catheter placement).
* Management of **minor emergencies**, including hemorrhage control, initial stabilization, and peripheral IV line placement.
* Follow-up of patients with **chronic diseases** (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
* Activities specific to the **Inpatient Unit**.
* Handling of **C.E.Y.E.** (sterilization and preparation of materials).
* Active participation in **teamwork**.
* Consistent demonstration of a **service-oriented attitude**, respect, and empathy toward patients and colleagues.
* **Incident coverage**, as required by departmental operational needs.
**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
* Proficiency in **vital signs measurement and interpretation**.
* Solid knowledge of **emergency and inpatient care**.
* Skill in **peripheral IV line placement**.
* Competence in **medication administration** via various routes.
* Proper handling of **equipment and materials** in the C.E.Y.E. area.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
* **Nursing Technician**, **General Nursing**, or **Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing** (certified or license pending).
* Valid **Basic Life Support (BLS) certification** — preferred.
* Courses or training in **Emergency Care**, **Inpatient Care**, or **C.E.Y.E.** — preferred.

**Essential Knowledge**
* **Emergency Care: initial patient management, rapid assessment, stabilization, medication administration, and basic procedures in critical situations.**

* **Emergency Care: triage prioritization, IV line placement, hemorrhage control, support in minor procedures, and rapid decision-making under pressure.**

Salary: $9,600.00 - $18,000.00 per month
