Department: Engineering Reports to: General Director / Operations Manager Interfaces with: Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Human Resources, Customers, Suppliers Level: Management Work Mode: On-site / Field **JOB OBJECTIVE** Coordinate and supervise the design and execution of low- and medium-voltage electrical projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, delivery timelines, and cost control, as well as technical development of the engineering team and proper service to internal and external customers. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Area Management and Leadership** * Coordinate the team of electrical engineers and technicians. * Assign priorities and workloads, and track deliverables. * Evaluate staff technical performance and propose training plans. * Serve as liaison between Management, Sales, and the Engineering Department. **Engineering and Technical Supervision** * Validate electrical drawings, calculation reports, and technical proposals. * Supervise the design of single-line diagrams and material selection. * Ensure compliance with NOM-001-SEDE, NEC, STPS, and internal standards. * Authorize technical scope changes and engineering solutions. **Project Management** * Develop and monitor electrical project schedules. * Supervise physical and financial progress. * Coordinate electrical testing, energization, and commissioning. * Identify technical and operational risks and propose corrective actions. **Sales and Customer Support** * Participate in technical meetings with customers. * Validate technical scope and costs in quotations. * Address and resolve technical incidents at site or during installation. * **Administrative and Documentation Control** * Supervise bills of materials (BOM) and purchase requisitions. * Validate technical files: as-built drawings, manuals, and reports. * Report project status and departmental metrics to Management.**JOB REQUIREMENTS** Academic Qualification Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or related field (degree holder or nearing graduation). Experience Minimum 2 years coordinating electrical projects, technical design, or supervision of installations. **Technical Knowledge** * Low- and medium-voltage electrical systems. * Interpretation and validation of electrical drawings. * Regulatory compliance. * Basic project management (schedule, cost, resources). * Budgeting and cost control.
