Requirements: Education: Completed technical or engineering degree Knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 5S, auditing, product inspection (raw materials and finished products), knowledge of quality management systems. Availability: No transportation issues. Sense of urgency Responsibilities: - Verify that tools and machinery are in proper working condition for safe initiation of inspections. - Verify that personnel possess the minimum required knowledge for correct pallet inspection aligned with customer specifications. - Coordinate the development, updating, and implementation of documented processes with plant work teams. - Perform quality verification on the pallet production line. - Verify that all departments comply with their respective quality criteria. - Verify incoming raw materials. - Conduct audits and file claims against suppliers for defective raw materials. - Issue rejections for shipping containers failing to meet customer-specified requirements. - Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) timely and accurately. - Manage documents, records, and reports to management. - Support external or internal audits. - Develop and improve productivity. - Monitor equipment calibration schedule. - Monitor mandatory use of assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., no food at workstations, no sugary beverages, etc.) by operational staff, and ensure supervisors enforce PPE usage.
