Project and Continuous Improvement Manager **Location:** Gestamp Aguascalientes, MX, Gestamp Ag **Date:** Mar 18, 2026 Ensure compliance with the development of new projects assigned to Aguascalientes plant, based on Gestamp’s GPCS methodology. Coordinate Project Engineers to ensure each project is completed on time, with quality, and within budget. Monitor and supervise the progress and performance of each project according to KPIs defined by Management. Serve as liaison with other plants across Mexico and with Corporate to obtain necessary support for proper project launch, as well as lead continuous improvement activities and GPS (Gestamp Production System). 1. Supervise, lead, and manage personnel assigned to each project. 2. Review and validate the status of each new project. 3. Establish project management strategies to achieve established objectives. 4. Define and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring equitable workload distribution. 5. Supervise timely closure of project phases in TC under monthly performance reporting. 6. Apply escalation procedures when risks to project delivery are identified. 7. Conduct periodic communications with internal and external customers for project tracking. 8. Support Project Engineers in achieving established objectives—Time, Cost, and Quality. 9. Validate, modify, and establish APQP methodology for new project launch processes, ensuring standardized administration. 10. Attend daily follow-up meetings at Regional, Gestamp plant, and Customer levels. 11. Coordinate and track Product Engineers. 12. Report progress and constraints to Management and Executive Leadership. 13. Validate PSO compliance for each project and supervise scheduled audits. 14. Ensure correct use of resources for pilot runs and testing during in-plant validation phase. 16. Supervise compliance with safety and environmental requirements for applicable projects, adhering to PRL and ISO9001. 17. Ensure compliance with customer requirements per applicable standards, manuals, and portals. 18. Request, assign, and organize required resources for each project, ensuring their training in necessary processes. 19. Responsible for the continuous improvement and cost reduction team through KAIZEN project initiatives and GPS. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Engineering or related degree, or equivalent experience demonstrating required profile. Knowledge of IATF 16949. Basic knowledge of VDA 6.3. Basic knowledge of VDA 6.5. Product Safety. APQP knowledge. Core Tools. VDA RGA process for German customers. Problem solving. GD&T knowledge. Essential knowledge of applicable customer portals. Knowledge and use of Teamcenter. Lean & Six Sigma (desirable). Knowledge of financial concepts for industrial projects. Design software proficiency (AutoCAD & SOLIDWORKS). Tools: Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, intermediate–advanced Excel. Systems: One Team, Gestamp Global Learning, SAP Ariba, HR System, QMS, EMS.
