Job Summary: We are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Technician to manage airway care, operate equipment, and administer respiratory therapies in a hospital setting. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in emergency codes. **Hospital Mac Sur is seeking:** Respiratory Therapy Technician for the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM) **Day off:** Saturday **Benefits:** Exceeding statutory requirements. Knowledge and proficiency in administering medications specific to the Respiratory Therapy Department. Compliance with departmental training and continuous education programs, including training related to newly acquired equipment, devices, and materials. Compliance with institutional-wide training and education programs, including mandatory regulatory courses. Adherence to institutional norms, policies, and procedures, as well as internal service protocols (e.g., compliance with the department’s internal regulations). Availability to serve on on-call duty as required by the Respiratory Therapy Department. Collaboration in operational planning for the use of Respiratory Therapy Department equipment and supplies, including proper care and efficient utilization of resources such as equipment and supplies. Proper implementation of internal departmental processes, including equipment cleaning, completion of cleaning logs, timely delivery of services, and appropriate use and management of supplies/inventory. Conducting clinical assessments aligned with the responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapy Technician for each patient presenting with airway-related care needs. Responding to and participating in emergency codes as they arise, providing support to departments such as Emergency Services and Intensive/Intermediate Care Units when requested. Proper management and administration of Low-Flow Oxygen Therapy, including nasal cannulas, reservoir masks, and other required devices. Proper management and administration of Aerosol Therapy, considering indications and contraindications of administered medications for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
