Job Responsibilities: Supervise compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and permits. Implement the project’s Environmental Management Program (EMP). Monitor environmental impacts: emissions, noise, waste, water, and soil. Manage waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate environmental audits and inspections. Train personnel on sound environmental practices. Prepare periodic environmental reports for authorities and clients. Supervise the efficient use of resources (water, energy, materials). Respond to environmental emergencies (spills, contamination, etc.). Maintain communication with environmental authorities and stakeholders. Job Requirements Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an environmental specialization, or related field. Experience 2–5 years in construction or civil works projects. Experience in environmental regulatory compliance and audits. Technical Knowledge Environmental legislation (e.g., applicable regulations in Mexico such as SEMARNAT). Environmental impact assessment. Waste management (applicable NOMs). Environmental management systems (ISO 14001\). Occupational health and safety (desirable). Skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Organization and follow-up skills. Effective communication.
