**General Objective:** Efficiently carry out medication dispensing, control of medications and supplies in accordance with applicable regulations to ensure timely patient care and safety. **Job Responsibilities:** * Dispensing and distributing medications and supplies to various departments within the medical area. * Entering invoices for medications and medical devices. * Managing inventory and storage of medications. * Classifying and organizing medications and other health supplies according to established procedures. * Inspecting and recording expiration dates of medications nearing expiry and reporting them to the Health Officer. * Returning defective medications, medications with short expiration dates, or medications whose costs differ from those stated on the purchase order to suppliers. * Promptly dispensing and attending to nursing department requests. * Knowing the active ingredient and brand name of medications. * Classifying, organizing, and maintaining up-to-date stock of the essential medicines and supplies list in compliance with applicable regulations. * Monitoring and recording refrigerator temperature, humidity, and ambient conditions according to established medication storage standards for proper preservation. * Handing over and receiving shifts, thoroughly verifying all pending tasks. * Keeping shelves, refrigerators, and the general area organized and clean. * Preparing daily medication purchase reports. * Attending training courses designated by the hospital. * Actively participating in emergency codes, facility safety system brigades, and scheduled drills. * Performing all duties inherent to one’s area of expertise. * • Procuring additional medications and supplies required to address pharmacy shortages. * Meeting the pharmacy’s operational needs during one’s shift. * Supplying medications to all hospital departments. **Education:** ACADEMIC LEVEL: Upper secondary education.
