Job Summary: Lead the warehouse team, prioritize safety, oversee receiving and shipping, control inventory, optimize space, and plan the logistics strategy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and supervise the warehouse team 2. Prioritize safety and prevent risks 3. Plan and optimize the logistics strategy * **Lead the team**. Must supervise, guide, and assign responsibilities to warehouse professionals (storage tasks, order preparation, cleaning, etc.). Must also evaluate each employee’s performance and verify that work is carried out correctly. * **Prioritize safety**. One of the warehouse manager’s primary responsibilities is to develop a risk prevention plan aligned with warehouse tasks and facility characteristics. This plan includes conducting an annual technical inspection of rack conditions. * **Oversee receiving and shipping**. The warehouse manager must plan the required steps and ensure their implementation. Additionally, they will make decisions in case of unforeseen situations. * **Inventory control**. This involves tracking goods—including finished products and raw materials. Undoubtedly, the fundamental principle of logistics is having merchandise available whenever needed. Stockouts negatively impact business operations (delivery delays, damage to corporate image, etc.), and must therefore be avoided at all costs. * **Optimize space**. Lack of space is one of the biggest concerns in warehouse management. Thus, one of the warehouse manager’s responsibilities is to allocate space logically and efficiently. For example, in large warehouses, goods may be segmented and distributed across different zones. Efficient space organization enhances operational performance and enables staff to locate items more quickly. * **Plan the logistics strategy**. This entails ensuring smooth operation of all warehouse activities. It includes: 1\. Developing procurement, storage, and production supply policies (i.e., the company’s internal logistics). 2\. Deciding on and organizing distribution and delivery processes for each product. 3\. Supervising picking. 4\. Ensuring smooth goods flow and analyzing ways to improve and refine all processes. 5\. Optimizing transportation: reducing costs, delivery times, and delivery routes. 6\. Preventing incidents and warehouse deterioration by implementing safety and maintenance measures. Position Type: Full-time Salary: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Option for permanent contract * Company phone * Additional vacation days or paid leave Work Location: On-site employment
