At Workana, we are looking for a **Junior Advanced Data Analyst** to join the data team of one of our clients: "A Mexican company dedicated to improving health and quality of life through pharmaceutical and personal care products." Their data science team focuses on transforming data into strategic knowledge that drives organizational decision-making. The team combines skills in statistical analysis, programming, and data visualization to identify patterns, build predictive models, and develop interactive dashboards that enable deep business understanding. In addition to designing data-driven solutions, they collaborate closely with various departments to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and support innovation. **Role Mission:** Manage and analyze data to ensure it is reliable and consistent, guaranteeing that business decisions are grounded in accurate information. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with an analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for turning information into real impact. **Key Responsibilities:** * Extract, transform, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources. * Identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities that support business strategy. * Communicate findings effectively to business units, enabling data to translate into informed decisions. * Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability, guaranteeing analytical results are accurate. * Document processes. * Perform data queries. * Collaborate with Data, IT, and BI teams to ensure coherence in information usage. * Partner with advanced analytics and business intelligence teams to ensure high-quality data input. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Professional degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science. * **2 years** of experience as a **Data Analyst.** * Experience with basic/intermediate **SQL.** * Experience with basic **Python** and **R.** * Knowledge of **ETL/ELT** processes and **data integration tools.** * Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational **database modeling and management.** * Familiarity with **descriptive statistics.** **Expected Soft Skills:** * Fast learner. * Attention to detail. * Ability to document processes. * Analytical and problem-solving profile. * Empathetic individual who fosters a sense of belonging and teamwork. **Contractual Conditions:** * Work modality: 100% remote. * Working hours: Full-time (8 hours/day). * Compensation: USD 800 per month. * Contract type: Service Provision Agreement via Workana. * Duration: 12 months, with possibility of renewal based on strong performance. **Selection Process:** * Brief asynchronous video screening on Hireflix. * Brief call with a Workana Recruiter. * Technical and cultural interview with the client’s team lead. * Brief technical challenge with the client’s team lead.
