Pleasant and dynamic work environment A Mexican company with over 25 years of experience in the national refrigeration and automation market is currently seeking personnel for the position of **FOREIGN TRADE ASSISTANT**. Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Administration, or related field—completed or in progress. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in import-related activities. Knowledge: * Basic import processes * Customs documentation * General foreign trade regulations * ERP system proficiency * Intermediate Excel skills * Basic English proficiency Competencies: * Organization and follow-up * Attention to detail * Effective communication * Collaborative teamwork * Analytical ability Job Objective: To monitor import operations and associated administrative activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, proper document control, and accurate coordination with customs agents and internal departments—thereby contributing to the company’s operational efficiency. Main Responsibilities: * Assist in monitoring import operations from origin to warehouse delivery under supervision. * Support communication with customs agents by sharing required information and documentation. * Assist in reviewing import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, customs entries, annexes, etc. * Enter and update foreign trade operation data in the ERP system and database. * Monitor transit times and customs release timelines, reporting any deviations to the department head. * Support tracking and recording of import costs (freight, taxes, duties, handling), without direct negotiation. * Maintain organized and up-to-date import files for internal control and audits. * Assist with administrative tasks related to imports between UCR and Airesa. * Prepare periodic reports on import status. * Collaborate on tasks assigned by the Foreign Trade Manager to gain full-process understanding.
